Alliance Behavioral Healthcare provides helpful resources to consumers and families with individuals who have Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). The I/DD resources and information provided on this page aids in Alliance’s I/DD support programs.

Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities [I/DD] are characterized by the impairment of general intellectual functioning and adaptive behavior that occurs before age twenty-two (22) which:

  • Limits one (1) or more major life functions
  • IQ of sixty-nine (69) or below
  • Impairment has continued since its origination or can be expected to continue indefinitely
