Psychiatric Advanced Directives (PADs) Training Available

Free training is available in Wake and Cumberland Counties to providers to help individuals fill out and use Psychiatric Advanced Directives (PADs). These workshops will review the goals and benefits of Psychiatric Advance Directives and introduce techniques to assist persons with mental illness in completing them. Legal considerations, systems implementation and use of the NC advance directive registry will also be addressed.

The Wake County training will be Monday, October 22, 2018, from 1 – 4 pm at William F. Andrews Conference Center, 3024 New Bern Ave., Raleigh NC 27610.
