The It’s Time to Re-Think campaign focuses on the concepts of recovery and self-determination and reflects Alliance’s commitment to integrating these concepts into our work and to making the citizens of Durham, Wake, Cumberland and Johnston counties more aware of them. The campaign aims to debunk the common myths and misconceptions about people with mental illness, substance use disorders and intellectual/developmental disabilities that create stigma and keep them from getting the help they need.

How the Campaign Works

Local Alliance Community Relations teams are the driving force in spreading the campaign’s messages to audiences throughout our four counties.
